Taken at Pasir Ris area after Sunday evening mass.

Golden hour, almost missed

Saw the perfect combination of clouds, sun at the back with rays of light shining upwards. The kind of scene during which we usually hear the voice of God in movies.

And guess what.. we had no camera at hand at that time. Dang. Rushed back home to get it, but that moment was forever lost. What's left was only clouds with pink-orange hue.

Dangling fruit

A fruit hanging from one of my neighbours' plants.

A stoned frog

"Captured" a frog! It acted stoned on top of a stone beside a lamp post, oblivious to all the flashes we used.

It's a rainy Saturday. I took this shot squatting under an umbrella, at friends' house complex.

Blue sky holiday

Our blue sky holiday at Senggigi Beach, Lombok. The cloudy sky made the hot weather more bearable but then we couldn't enjoy the supposed-to-be magnificent sunset and view of Bali's Gunung Agung.

Cascading waterfalls

Cascading waterfalls at Sendang Gila, North Lombok. It took us about 2 hours from hotel to reach this place. We then walked for about 30 mins to reach the waterfall itself, and just about 10 minutes taking photos.

Happy Valentine's day and happy CNY! It'll be a long time before the two occasions coincide again.

Stalks of sunflowers at Changi Terminal 2, taken minutes before departure. They're too bright to resist, aren't they?

Just another tree

Passed by this tree at East Coast Road on the way to dinner. With a little imagination it looks like a heart shaped tree, complete with dangling red flowers fit for the CNY and Valentine's day occasion :p

Purple bougenville

Purple bougenville found in front of Woodlands civic centre. I think bougenville is the most common roadside plant in Singapore.

No green thumb

I've to admit I've no green thumb. My 'gardening' activities only revolve around watering a few potted plants every morning, always in a rush. I did not even notice that each of this plant's leaf has its own signature pattern in darker green - unique for each leaf; and that it has more leaves with holes than healthy ones; if not for this photo taking.

Passed by this tree when we were maneuvering around Joo Chiat area this afternoon. Note to self: do not go to Joo Chiat on weekends.

We've never seen pineapple trees until now. Spotted two of these at car park area of Batam International Ferry Terminal.
