Blizzard!

It's been a long time since I last ate Dairy Queen's Blizzard. This evening we went to Expo and had this regular cup of green tea KitKat blizzard. I should've taken the photo with the cup upside down, but there's no way I was going to risk the yummy treat.

Just arrived in our mailbox today - another set of fast food coupons. I usually put those in my bag, to be used just in case temptation arises.

There are several of these countdown clocks around the island. This one is located in front of Parkway Parade. It's 115 days, 36 mins and 19 secs to the inaugural Youth Olympic Games!

Banana split

It's been ages since we last ate at Swensen's. We got this banana split for free using the coupons we collected from potato chips' bags :p Frankly speaking, the strawberry ice cream did not taste like strawberry and the chocolate scoop taste was boring. Vanilla was just normal. Well, blame it on all the Ben and Jerry's goodness we've been consuming for the past months.

It's been three really long years.
Time to bid farewell?

Golden hour, almost missed

Saw the perfect combination of clouds, sun at the back with rays of light shining upwards. The kind of scene during which we usually hear the voice of God in movies.

And guess what.. we had no camera at hand at that time. Dang. Rushed back home to get it, but that moment was forever lost. What's left was only clouds with pink-orange hue.

Part of Sengkang LRT tracks with one of the trains. The first time I took the LRT, it was in Bukit Panjang line, I was amazed at how the windows got foggy whenever the train passed too near to the HDB windows.

We had mini gathering with high school friends at Orchard area. This is double chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream we shared at PS Cafe, Paragon. According to him whose hand was in the photo, the slice was about 20cm long. Really yummy.

Kueh Tutu

Kueh Tutu (steamed rice flour cake) with ground peanut filling for supper tonight. Other available flavors: shredded coconut, chocolate and durian. The last two are not so commonly found.

Risk

The latest addition to our collection of boardgames - Risk. Bought it a few weeks ago at Woodland's pasar malam. It's quite interesting, especially when I won the game twice in a row =) go blue soldiers!

A stoned frog

"Captured" a frog! It acted stoned on top of a stone beside a lamp post, oblivious to all the flashes we used.
